The commissioner of this piece wanted a "re-imagining" of an old Dungeons & Dragons illustration by Jeff Dee, as seen here:
This was a very fun commission for me. And props to Jeff Dee - one of the many artists in the '80s that filled my childhood with all sorts of crazy fantasy imagery!
Artwork was drawn with pencil, brush pen, and Sharpie. Colored with Prismacolor markers. Size: 11"x14"
