BIG TROUBLE cover 1

I spent part of my New Year's Eve watching Big Trouble in Little China (for the trillionth time) and drawing this fake comic cover.. I decided I had to take a short break from "work work" and draw something spontaneous for myself. So this is what I did.. I've always loved the movie, and I've always fantasized that some publisher would acquire the rights to make an ongoing sequel comic book series, and then ask me to do the art for it. How sexy would that be? Super sexy.

So that's the scene on this cover -- picking up right where the movie leaves off, the wild beastie attacks Jack on the Pork Chop Express, craziness and adventure ensues. I've gone back in forth in my head as to what I'd want to call a continuing comic series... "More Trouble".. "Bigger Trouble"... "The Adventures of Jack Burton".... At the end of the day, I feel like a short and simple "Big Trouble" works best. So you can argue with me if you want, but I think it's the best option. : P
