I never was a fan of Maul, but this guy really intrigues me. I love how he was a pawn, noble at first but manipulated into becoming a monster. I also like how different he is from Maul, regardless of what people say he's much more than just a yellow copy, aesthetically or personality wise. You captured his unique facial structure and manner well. I want more of him in the show, i want to know his fate. I have no idea how they'll handle Maul coming back and i really wish they wouldn't have pulled that, but this guy will keep me watching those episodes.

Dear Grant - I really really really love your artwork and I am a big fan of your style. I like how you use heavy lines and thin smaller thinner strokes. I gotta work on that technique. I draw everything on my Wacom tablet then color it in Photoshop. I was thinking about doing a Clone Wars style piece of Savage Opress and his brother Darth Maul. I think I will use the cyborg Maul concept. I haven't done too much Star Wars art, mostly V and family/friends portraits. I did do a Pre-Skool styled Star Wars drawing of my cousin's baby, Darth Giada. It's pretty funny. [link] Anyway, when I am done with it, you will be the first person I let see it. :-)
