This is a personal commission I did a few months ago. Drawn with brush pen, then colored digitally in Photoshop.

The guy in the white shirt is Bryan Burk (check out BryanBurk.com or his IMDb page) -- to say he's a bigtime producer is an understatement. His credits include the show "Alias," a little movie you might've heard of called Cloverfield, one of my favorite shows ever - "LOST" - and the upcoming J.J. Abrams horror/sci-fi/thriller show "Fringe." And as if that weren't enough, he's an executive producer on the upcoming Star Trek movie!

I had to use old school Trek pictures as reference for the uniforms, since we haven't seen any official shots from the movie yet (and no one could send me any sneaky peeky designs) -- so left to right: Zoe Saldana as Uhura, Zachary Quinto as Spock, and Chris Pine as Kirk. Hopefully my guesses as to how they're going to look in the movie aren't too far off.

Amy (the Ultimate Burky Babe), thank you for the great commission!! And, Bryan, thank you for the super nice words - I'm glad ya like it, man!

I wish. I have a friend who does and he tells me she's the most down-to-earth person you could imagine. I also had a co-worker who went to school with her and she always said that her plans after school were to become a Hollywood actress and all the other girls just rolled their eyes and even some of them laughed at her for saying that.
Who's laughing now, uh? and from the telecomunications console of the USS Enterprise nonetheless!!

I love her.
