This is my base card for the Star Wars Galaxy 6 set, which comes out early next month. I submitted a few ideas to Topps, and this is the one my editor wanted me to run with -- It's a glimpse at a younger Obi-Wan and Satine, along with Qui-Gon Jinn. In the Clone Wars cartoon, we're introduced to Duchess Satine and learn that years earlier, the Republic had sent Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan to Mandalore to protect her for a year, during a time of Mandalorian civil war. Obi-Wan and the duchess developed strong feelings for each other, but ultimately - as we know - he chose the Jedi path.

I love this, looks like a movie poster. :)

I would love to see the story of young Obi Wan and Satine. She was one of my favorite female characters on the show, I liked her.

Ah, Master Qui-Gon, you ARE supreme. I'm hoping to get into the film industry soon and God-willing animation too. I hope I run into you sometime. Your style is just spot on and may be what I am looking for.

There can never be too much Qui Gon Awesomeness. (I like Obi Wan too, but prefer the older look from II and III over the youngling appearance)...
Your lightsabers look unique but it's a very powerful style, worthy of those mighty weapons.
